Anna Nicole Eglash, Born in Las Vegas, NV in 1995, was brought up in a remarkable musical and entertainment environment. Her mother, Leslie, was an accomplished dancer and one of the world famous Sahara Girls. Her father worked professionally in the industry for over 20 years playing keyboards, touring, as well as writing and producing for various artists in Los Angeles. Her maternal grandfather, Jack Eglash, conducted, and worked with the likes of Jerry Lewis, Sammy Davis, Jr., Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland and countless others. Her paternal grandfather, Ron Feuer, Sr. was the keyboardist for Elvis Presley, Diana Ross and many more. This was the world of Anna’s childhood, a world that had an indelible influence on her passion for music and singing. Her training ground was at the family piano, where at the early age of four, she began singing standards with her mother, while her grandfather, Jack, played piano. At the age of seven, Anna began studying jazz piano with her father and shortly after began singing live at local venues. Anna and her dad recorded her first four song album at the age of 11, which was dedicated to her grandfather, who had passed away the prior year. Anna continued singing with her mother at live venues and working with her father in the studio while refining her style, co-writing and arranging songs. Entering high school, Anna focused on performing and would go on to perform at various festivals where she won Best Soloist as well as many other awards. She also played the lead role of Reno Sweeney in “Anything Goes.” Influenced by some of the iconic singers of her parents era as well as the current artists of today, Anna is focusing her energy on pop/R&B. A few of her favorite influences are Amy Winehouse, John Legend, Rihanna, Musiq Soulchild and Etta James. Today, Anna writes her own music and lyrics, and spends countless hours in the studio recording not only her own originals, but also singing on demos and albums for other artists. She recently worked with multiple Grammy Award winner, Harvey Mason, Jr. (Straight Out of Compton, Pitch Perfect, Dream Girls).
To say “music is in her blood” is an understatement.
